Introduction
The Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is pleased to accept applications for the ninth year of its Certificate in Financial Planning program.
This non-credit program is designed to provide you with the background and the qualifications to successfully sit for the CFP® Certification Examination (the Exam) and prepare you for careers in financial services, one of the fastest growing and highest paying industries in the U.S. economy. The Certificate is particularly appealing to stockbrokers, tax preparers, insurance agents, real estate professionals, bank and trust officers, financial planners, accountants, attorneys, and others interested in entering the financial services field.
This program covers personal financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, insurance, and investments, and focuses on all of the recommended topics necessary to successfully pass the CFP® Exam. This subject matter will enable you to make responsible financial planning recommendations to your clients.
The University of Missouri-Kansas City does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification marks. CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ are certification marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
