DIVERSITY: a VITAL RESOURCE for NONPROFITS

Explore the important interface between diversity and nonprofit effectiveness.

Understanding and developing the full potential of the talents of a diverse board and staff is a great strategic advantage.  How can the talents of people with different voices, skills, backgrounds, perspectives and experiences be incorporated successfully, with dignity, to enhance the vision, values and goals of a nonprofit agency or any other organization?

Participants in this three day, in-depth seminar will explore the important link between diversity and nonprofit effectiveness, and identify ways to enhance the power of diversity in their organizations.

Seminar Content

  • Dimensions and complexity diversity.

  • Examine barriers to inclusiveness.

  • Designing, implementing and monitoring enhanced inclusiveness approaches for both individuals and their organization.

  • Each participant will develop a diversity action plan for an organization.

Full refunds will be given when cancellations are made at least five working days before the first class session.  A $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from refunds when notification occurs fewer than five working days before class begins.  No refunds will be made after the first session has begun.
