EFFECTIVE NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT
a SITUATIONAL APPROACH to SUPERVISION

Discover a range of skills and strategies to succeed as a nonprofit manager.

One of the persistent challenges in managing the staff and volunteers of a 21st Century nonprofit is to provide effective supervision and leadership amidst constant challenge and change. In this one-day workshop, learn about the situational approach to management and supervision, and how to tailor and employ a range of approaches, skills, and strategies to succeed as a nonprofit manager.

Seminar Content

  • History of a situational approach to leadership.
  • Understanding of leadership styles in the context of staff and team development.
  • A self-assessment of your primary management style.
  • Performance management and strategies for effectively supervising staff.
  • Understanding of the useful ways to address conflict that can emerge in the process of supervision.

Fee Information: $195 for one, and $175 for each additional agency representative 

(Fee includes light breakfast, lunch and seminar materials)

REFUND POLICY FOR NON-CREDIT REGISTRATION

Full refunds will be given when cancellations are made at least five working days before the first class session. A $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from refunds when notification occurs fewer than five working days before a class begins. No refunds will be made after sessions have begun.

 

The Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership reserves the right to cancel courses and seminars when circumstances require.
